Tagans are a group of large aquatic Cthonian carnivores, closely related to Tigrids. They consume other animals, such as Anikens.
They have four fins for movement, which is very rapid. Their maxillipeds are well adapted to catching and breaking open their prey. Their senses of chemoreception and hearing are very well-developed.
