Rgorok in the present day

Rgorok (Ru-goh-ruk) is the homeworld of the Gorkhan, in the Khargg system of the Ngrakk nebula, which is in the Polemos Galaxy. It is estimated to be destroyed by the star Khargg in 2 million years. It is currently class TIE, as most of the water has been consumed or evaporated.

Planetary CharacteristicsEdit

A dying world, Rgorok is heavily polluted and densely populated.

Rgorok has a diameter of 1.1 times earth, but a mass of 0.98 times it, due to its silicate core. It is filled with industrial metals such as iron, titanium, and aluminum. However, most of these minerals have been mined out and turned into buildings and ships.

Rgorok is a silicon based planet, and has a small core. Its terrain is made mainly of glassy rocks or sharp sand. This is due to the warming of the planet whilst Khargg expands. Its water has mostly evaporated, and there is very little animal or plant life due to this. Its atmosphere is escaping, and is 35% nitrogen, 31% carbon dioxide, 15% carbon monoxide, 9% oxygen, 5% smog, and 5% other gases such as argon.

With Khargg closing in, Rgorok is at an orbit 19 million miles away from the star. The only reason it has not completely gone to hell is because of heat-blocking stationary spacecraft orbiting the star. Its orbit is barely elliptical.

Rgorok has one moon, Takrran, which is covered with cities, but is now being quickly turned into a mobile ship, as a part of the Four Hundred Year Plan.

Rgorok has an obvious covering of smoke, rising to even its exosphere, due to high emissions in their pre-space

An estimation of Rgorok in the last 1.5 million years of its lifetime

era. The atmosphere is escaping, and at a heightening rate. Its surface is 72% covered with buildings, and there is little overall plant life. The other non-covered areas are covered with glossy boulders and fields of fiberglass-like sand.

There is very little life left on Rgorok, as the heat is rising, and the only major life form on the surface is the Gorkhan. The Gorkhan population here is reaching 14 billion, and the planet cannot accompany that many people. Most of the population is living in extreme poverty, and cannot go to other planets. This foreshadows a large extinction event, of the star expanding far enough to burn the planet to a crisp, killing all with solar storms and boiling them alive. The remaining bodies of water are home to the strange slithers.
