Lerheegoes are large land animals native to Koje. They are easily distinguished by a long neck, four slender legs and a tubular mouth to feed on plant fluids and pond plankton.
It is one of the few quadruped creatures of Koje and evolved from cephalopod like ancestors. Its four legs and beak are all heavily modified tentacles supported by silicon bone-like structures. Mistakes be avoided: Lerheegoes are not silicon-based, only their bones are. There is evidence of silicon-based creatures living deep in the oceans of Koje, but this remains unconfirmed.
