Haarukka (foreground)
Haarukka is a type of cactus that grows in Ziarna, on Piasek.
Appearance[]
Haarukka have the iconic cactus appearance of a fork. The main ‘trunk’ is the tallest, reaching up to four metres in height. Two smaller parts fork out on either side, from about two metres up. This gives it the appearance of a three-pronged fork.
The spikes on a Haarukka are long and fairly thick, yet still lead to a sharp point. This can ward off most herbivores.
Food[]
Like most other cactus types on Ziarna, the Haarukka gets its food from photosynthesis. The leaves on the prongs collect the sunlight, but there are no leaves on the main trunk.
