The Gorrobo are arboreal herbivores native to the montane rainforests of Dawn.
Gorrobo are hexapods, all six limbs used to cling to branches. They have no teeth; instead, they use a large grinding plate at the roof of the mouth used to crush vegetation. A long prehensile tail is used for hanging from the trees.
Gorrobo eat all manner of plant matter, such as leaves, shoots, sprouts, flowers, fruits, and even bark from tree trunks on occasion. Obviously, they are not picky eaters.
Gorrobo can swim very well, and usually inhabit the trees near pools or rivers. They can stay underwater for half an hour without taking a breath. This ability can also be used to forage for freshwater plant material.
